- Yep, you heard it correctly. I don't know much about it, though. The
- problem with VB script (?) is the performance (unless MS does some good
- implementation) will be worse than Java or JavaScript just because VB
- already is slower. The only thing (my opinion only) that VB has going
- for it, is it is stable (4.0 versions not 1.0 versions or betas) and it
- already has a strong backing of supporters who call themselves
- programmers. It would be depressing to see VB knock off Java. Java has a
- lot more flexibility than VB and it is more powerful. Granted many
- improvements have to come about to make it top-notch, but it gives more
- hope (or atleast is in the right direction) to add more interactivity to
- the Net than VB would.
